Best way to keep a cut avocado fresh!

You want to keep an avocado half, fresh and green istead of brown and slimy? Yes you can use a cellophane. You can squish a lemon over the cut surface. But the best way to keep it fresh... is to keep it in a clean cottage cheese or similarly sized opaque container with a piece of cut up onion. Cover with lid and refrigerate. This way it will remain fresh for several days! For more tips check the original post here!

  2. Really? You should try it! It's perfect in salads with some lemon and salt! Pick one which is soft and ripe... when you press it, it stays pressed...! It's like butter with taste! yummi!
